Chloe recently led our wedding ceremony and we honestly can't imagine how it could have been better. Right through from enquiry to the big day she was a star.

She made preparation for the ceremony as stress free as possible, keeping us on track with nudges and deadlines (our request as we knew we'd leave it last minute without them!).

The process of informal interviews to help her gather info for the bespoke ceremony was really enjoyable, and was actually a lovely bonding process for me and my husband-to-be, which was unexpected.

On the day Chloe was an absolute professional and pitched the ceremony perfectly, there were as many laughs as there were tears (and there were a lot of tears!).

Chloe absolutely smashed our ceremony!

From the first meeting on zoom, we knew that we wanted Chloe to conduct our ceremony - and this ended up being one of the best decisions that we made.

Throughout the whole process, Chloe knew the exact questions to ask to shape our ceremony to be perfectly "us" and made us feel at ease at every point.

Our ceremony ended up being the best part of the day with a great mix of sentimental aspects, easy going elements, with fun and light hearted laughter (we wanted to avoid our ceremony feeling like a tick box exercise!).

Chloe captured us so well, that people kept on asking us throughout the day who the close friend was that did the amazing ceremony!

Chloe was a stellar celebrant and her perfectly crafted ceremony was an absolute highlight of our wedding day. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!

We hit it off so quickly with Chloe and she made the lead up to the day so seamless. She really got to know us as individuals and as a couple and that shone through in a ceremony that was personal, heartwarming and hilarious.

We opted to not see the ceremony in advance and we were so glad we got to enjoy the magic unfolding alongside our guests. 

So many people complimented us on the ceremony, Chloe’s delivery and charm were 10/10. We just wish we could do it all again!

I’m not even sure how to express how deeply I loved working with Chloe. From the beginning she treated our story — and us — with care and respect, while also feeling like we’d known her forever.

The attention to detail, the personalisations, the focused conversations leading up to the ceremony, combined with the detailed questions regarding the level of emotion and humour we wanted took us both by such delighted surprise, we knew we had placed our story and our day in the right hands. 

She had even offered suggestions to make our vows more synonymous without losing the essence of who we were or what we were trying to convey. If anything, she made them better. (Coming from a writer who hates to be edited, that is saying something!)

We chose to go into our wedding without seeing Chloe’s script beforehand, and honestly, it was the best thing. I have rarely laughed so hard, or rolled my eyes so aggressively (I don’t fuck with compliments too well, and she managed to get some great ones from my friends). 

She handled the loss of family members with such love, grace, and warmth that when I felt tears escape my eyes at her mention of them, it was because I knew she had brought their spirit into the space so beautifully that I could practically see them.

Chloe melded the wildly wordy emotions of my creative and spiritual American soul and my stunningly reserved yet brilliantly intelligent and goofy wife’s English humour so seamlessly. It was as if we were sitting (SITTING!!!) up there with an old friend, who cared so much about every single detail of our day.

And I could truly go on and on — because when I arrived, wildly nervous, she came to make me feel more at ease. She made sure we didn’t need to bring a single thing, and had us sitting down for most of it, so not only could we hold hands, but we could see the people who meant the most to us without having to worry about wobbling on our very fabulous shoes. Chloe gets it.

She helped us understand what we could do, made a real effort to get to know our family and crafted a beautiful, funny and thoughtful script.

Our guests were really impressed. The day couldn't have gone better!

This wonderfully talented human set the tone for our entire day. No one expected to be quite so blown away by the ceremony - the part most people often find a little generic and rarely the highlight of the day. But not for our day. That first, magical half hour of our wedding had everyone totally invested in why they were there; the meaning, the power of our day felt tangible, and we could never have anticipated such a feeling.

Chloe took the time to get to know all our friends and family. She arranged video calls with each of them as well as with the two of us. It meant our ceremony hit a whole new level of personal, truly reflecting our love story. As a queer person, Chloe’s involvement in our wedding meant the world to us. You captured the heart and soul of our big gay day - from taking the time to speak to our nearest and dearest, to all the countless calls with us over the two year planning process, listening to us and setting us ‘straight’ (not literally) but without having to align to anyone's expectations.

You saw us as a couple and you brought that energy by the bucket-load to the day, weaving in references from stories we told you when we first met you, right up to our personal interviews - slotted together in a beautifully crafted story of us. A celebrant truly isn’t just for a wedding, they’re a friend for life when they do it as right as you do, Chlo.

You hit the brief tenfold with the vibe and energy we wanted on our big day and whilst we were also exceptionally blessed with the weather, you brought the brightest and warmest sunshine through the window of our ceremony and shone it right on us.

You made everyone feel so at ease, from the second they met you, you are one of the most personable individuals. Everyone was so excited to tell us about their chat with you, how lovely you were, and how special they felt from their chat - and that is truly the energy you radiate to everyone.

We had our legal ceremony in the morning of our wedding day and it was nothing in comparison to the completely personal, wholly inclusive and totally camp shenanigan we were able to execute under your expert eye.

It's honestly hard to put into words how perfect Chloe was as our celebrant, we could not recommend her more.

We are so happy we chose Chloe to be the celebrant at our wedding. We were so close to having a template registrar wedding but then Chloe swooped in to give us the ceremony of our dreams!

When we were preparing for our wedding day we hadn’t put as much thought into the details of our ceremony as we should have - but thanks to Chloe it was the part of the day that our guests talk to us about the most.

Being a gay couple we found lots of elements of marriage very dated and not designed for same-sex relationships. When we found Chloe it was such a relief we didn’t have to explain what being queer meant, and it made such a difference choosing a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

‍She’s a breath of fresh air that seamlessly blended with all our friends and family - they now all want Chloe as their celebrant or just to be her best friend!

Meeting Chloe at a wedding fair, we hit it off immediately and I knew she would be a perfect fit for our very non-traditional wedding day. Her genuine excitement and passion for what she does makes you trust her immediately and completely! She is the type of person you feel like you’ve known your entire life even though it’s only been 10 minutes and makes everyone she meets feel comfortable and welcome.

With no idea what we wanted from a celebrant other than for the ceremony to be funny, Chloe guided us through the entire process from start to finish without us feeling rushed or pressured at any point. She kept us on time and on target with gentle nudges in the right direction and was always happy to talk to us whenever we needed a chitchat.

Having Chloe with us at the ‘alter’ made us feel less anxious/embarrassed about having all eyes on us. She made us feel so supported and safe next to her beaming smile that we both relaxed and actually enjoyed standing up and speaking in front of everyone. She truly made our ceremony one to remember for both us and our guests and we couldn’t have asked for a more amazing human to be involved in our big moment.

Keeping the ceremony as a surprise for both us and everyone else, Chloe had us in stitches from the start and almost got a few tears out of Dan (an incredible feat). 

She nailed our sense of humour to a tee, creating the perfect ceremony that was equal parts a roast and a love letter to our relationship.

We had the most amazing experience with Chloe, who made our wedding ceremony in June completely unforgettable. We initially chose Chloe for her incredible writing skills, but soon realised that her talents as a celebrant go far beyond that.

Chloe took a lot of time to get to know us inside and out, learning every little detail about our story as a couple. She even interviewed our friends and family to gain a deeper understanding of us and our relationship. From the moment we first contacted her about conducting our wedding ceremony, Chloe's warmth and humour made us feel like we were hanging out with one of our funniest friends, whether it was on a video call or eating fish and chips at her house.

We were so delighted to have Chloe do our daughter's naming ceremony. From the beginning she made the whole process an absolute joy.

We had an initial call where she asked practical and thoughtful questions to understand what we wanted from the experience and the story of our little family.

She turned this conversation into a ceremony that made us laugh and cry happy tears on first reading!

On the day itself she was unflappable in the face of many noisy children, bouncing balls and tiny hecklers. She put our guests (some of whom really didn't know what to expect) immediately at ease and everyone enthused about the wonderful ceremony she delivered.

We had asked Chloe as she married our daughter last year and happily for us she said yes without hesitation. We would wholeheartedly recommend Chloe.

Having Chloe perform our daughter’s naming ceremony was the best decision we could have made, aside from having our actual daughter in the first place. Throughout the process she was there to ask plenty of questions, offering suggestions and guiding us as first-time parents exceptionally well. We felt relaxed, comfortable and able to share all of our best memories, as well as a few challenges, of a year with our daughter. 

The ceremony itself was exceptional. Having asked not to see the remarks in advance, we expected to be pleasantly surprised, and were even more so.

The ceremony was moving, very funny, superbly delivered, and pitch perfect.

‍Almost none of our guests had been to a naming ceremony before, and without exception everyone afterwards not only said how amazing and perfect it was, but that they wished they’d been to more naming ceremonies as a result!

Chloe made the day extremely special and one that we will never forget. She ensured we had a special day to welcome our daughter to the world, which was interactive with our guests, wonderfully themed, and even better than we had imagined.

11/10 for everything from preparation, communication with us, and delivery on the day.

Working with Chloe is simply joyful. When we were considering having a celebrant for our marriage, we really didn't know what to expect, and we had our fair share of reservations. Our immediate reaction after speaking to Chloe for the first time was feeling like we'd just been chatting to a good friend: someone who shared our values, and cared about what we wanted. From that moment we knew Chloe and us were meant to be!

Every time we spoke with her during the process, that feeling became stronger. It made us open up, relax and be very thoughtful when answering Chloe's questions. It also meant we could be honest about what we didn't want without feeling like we were saying the wrong thing, or we could dismiss an idea if it didn't resonate with us.

Despite feeling like we could chat non-stop, Chloe was always prepared with a very structured list of questions and was exceptionally good at keeping us on time. Her follow-ups in writing were punctual and clear too, so we always knew what we'd discussed on a call, what tasks we had committed to and by when. She was also very timely at keeping us informed of progress, and offering all sorts of help and advice as we were planning our wedding.

We opted to keep the ceremony as a surprise, and it was absolutely worth it. Chloe really understood us and what tone we were looking for. The way she told our story realised our hopes perfectly: funny, earnest, heartfelt, with the occasional bombastic flourish! She made our guests and loved ones feel part of the story too, which was a beautiful touch.

Since the wedding, we've heard countless times from our friends and family just how special she made the day, and how much fun they had getting to know her afterwards - Chloe was literally one of the highlights of our wedding.

Chloe is an extraordinary celebrant, who created a ceremony that entirely exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful for the incredible experience that Chloe helped to create. From the first meeting to the announcing of our speeches on the big day, Chloe became embedded in such a way that our guests all assumed she was one of our close friends. She has an energy like that.

Having met some wedding providers making unwelcome assumptions as per gender to us and our guests, it was also refreshing and important for us to have a celebrant with lived understanding and sensitivity to the queer community, for both us and our friends. So it wasn’t surprising that on the day she fit in so well with all of them.

We can’t pin point the leading aspect of Chloe, it’s somewhere between the utter joy and vibrant personality that Chloe brought from day one, or the amazing research, writing and running of the ceremony. She has a beautiful practice that involves not only interviewing the couple marrying, but a number of their close friends. It’s unique experience for everyone involved, that our friends found special and memorable.

Chloe led the celebration of life for my late uncle, and I can only say that she made it the most special and fitting occasion possible.

From the outset, Chloe made an exceptional effort to really get to know my uncle’s life. Through sensitive discussions with friends and families she built a deep understanding of my uncle, not only biographically but in terms of his values, and who he was as a person. Working with her was a joyful, collaborative process, as she was so committed to building a layered and nuanced understanding of my late uncle.

This deep research came through in the wonderful eulogy she produced, which was crafted with care, humour and humanity – which friends and family found moving, funny and true to his life. On the day, she was warm and empathetic in leading the service – and in her delivery of the eulogy conveyed a real sense of affection and joy. It was hard to believe that she had never actually met my uncle.

Our guests were full of praise for Chloe, and many of them enjoyed the opportunity to spend time speaking with her afterwards. Having Chloe lead us through the event was a real pleasure, and her engagement throughout brought us considerable comfort. We would not hesitate to recommend her to others, for a celebration of life or for any special event.
